Music

Alright so I am in love! The thing that I am in love with is music, of course. I love singing more anything. In school, I just feel like bursting out in song. Like one of those corny high school moments. I also love writing songs. I get my inspiration from my life of course. Boys are always fun to write about. I've got some good ones about some certain boys. But that's for another discussion some other time. So anyway, I would love to write a song for someone and then sing it to them. That would be sweet and very meaningful, too. I just wish that I could sing all day, 24/7. Even if I suck at certain songs. It's just fun to let it all out. I love playing the piano also. I can't read music notes, however, i still invent new songs by just playing random chords. I'm playing the piano and singing at the talent show, so you all better come! It's going to be pretty sweet. I'm not that great at piano so I hope I do a decent job. Alright, well I just wanted to share with you a very important and special part of my life. What's something that you do in your life that you love very much? [[PICTURE COMING SOON]]

Fashion

So I just began to watch the show "Project Runway" and I must say, I am even more inspired than before. In fact, I just realized that I want to make my prom dress. I did find "the" prom dress. I was so excited! The colors were marvelous and the dress was beautiful. Then I saw pictures of what the actual dress looked like. It turns out that the photo I was looking at was visually modified or something! I was pretty angry. So then I began prom dress searching again, only to find that there wasn't a dress that spoke to me; that jumped out and said, "Elise, pick me!" So here we are, designing a dress. I just drew one and I must say it's looks fab. I know we have about 2 months until prom so I need to get moving! I'm just so excited to design this dress! It will be my first dress, too! :]

High School

Oh boy! What can I say about High School? Well first off, I'm going to list the things that I dislike about it. I dislike: drama, homework, tests, cliques, and waking up early. Drama; it has just got to stop. I know it never will, I mean, our world is fueled by drama. But the least people can do is actually TRY to be nice and accept other people. Seriously, I just don't know why people can't relax and be chill all the time! It really isn't that hard. Homework and tests; they just gotta go. Or at least tests. Okay, yeah I know they are essential for high school, but a girl can dream, can't she? Cliques: they are just dumb. Everyone can get along. Well, maybe not, because this is probably where drama is derived from. I just guess no one can be happy at the same time, but oh well, if I'm happy, I'm good. Oh and waking up early just sucks! I am defiantly not a morning person. So that was the bad and I know you're thinking, Elise, how is there anything good about high school? Well, to answer your question, friends. I love seeing people, laughing, and having a good time. Think about it, if we never went to high school, would we have even made any friends? Maybe, but I certainly look forward to seeing people everyday! Well, that was my last post for this assignment! I probably will continue to post because I am an addicted blog-aholic now, so do come back :]

Time Machine

I think that owning a time machine would be absolutely the coolest thing ever. It would do the world some good. Okay, well there could be a lot of potential consequences if it were to be in the wrong hands, but that's why it would be top secret and only Mrs. Krieger's class would be able to use it. It would be awesome to travel back to the medieval ages when there was jousting and men riding around on horses. Perhaps even the dinosaur ages. That would be sweet. We could go ride some T-rex's, chill with the herbivores. And what about the 1920's!? Oh man! If I could travel in the past, I would defiantly travel to the 1920's. It would be so awesome to live in the flapper era, where men wore those sweet hats all the time and dressed nice. And i LOVE dresses, so that would be such a cool era to be in! So if you could travel to ONE place in a time machine, where would you go?

P.S. The Time Machine is SUCH a good movie! Watch it!!

What The Ef

So Carmella and I were pee-wee cheer leading skills coaches this year. Our competition was today and our little girls did such an amazing job! But I would just like to share with you how our world is changing. The girls on this team range from 8 to 12 years old. It's so weird because when I was 8 or even 12, I didn't know/do half the things that these girls do. Supposedly they all began to wear make-up in kindergarten. A lot of the girls showed up to practice with make-up on. I defiantly didn't wear make-up at such a young age. They also know a lot of provocative rap songs. That just goes to show how our world is evolving and changing. All these little kids in school are learning things that we learned when were older than they were. For instance, my two brothers, who are in second and fourth grade, are learning things that I learned in fifth and sixth, maybe even seventh grade. I just think it's so weird how younger kids are maturing these days. It's just so ridiculous. So that's what's up.

Tickle

I think that the worse form of torture is being tickled. For instance, when someone grabs your feet and tickles you. That is awful! My sister used to do that to me all the time. It's the worst feeling ever because you're laughing, but it's not "haha" laughter, it's "kill me now, I'm in so much pain" laughter. Then you tell the person to stop, and of course they don't, so you're forced to kick them. So it's kind of funny anyway because they end up getting hurt. But anyway, armpits. Getting tickled there is no joy ride either. I'm thinking about the word tickle right now. It is such a strange word. Tickle. Just say it a few times. Tickle. Tickle. I don't know, I might just be weird. Anyway, I just thought that I would let everyone know how cruel tickling is. So yes, it's funny when it happens to others, but then when that hand comes inching towards you, you want no part. I just think it's funny how people love watching other people go through something, but then they don't want to go through it. Humans are so strange. So is tickling. And that's all folks! Oh, just a little note: As you can tell...I'm a very random person. And if you get to know me...I tend to jump from one point to the next with hardly even a breath in between. For instance...I'll be talking about cakes and then I'll remember a dream I had. I'll start talking about that dream even before I finish my story about the cake. Does anyone else do that? Or am I the only odd ball? :]

Stop Being Like Everyone Else

Okay, so here's what up. I'm sick of people trying to be like other people. I hate it when someone does something in their life just to make someone else happy or just because they want to be like them. You only have one life so why would you want to waste that one life on being like someone else? Just be yourself. No matter how weird or shy or crazy you are. People will accept you for who you are. And if they don't then screw them, who are they to judge you anyway? Just stop following the herd and be your own person. Life is so much better that way. I don't think people are courages enough to be different. Our world lives in a box. And few people want to venture out of that box. I just think that more people need to go outside of the box, that's all. And, I think I have a very innocent mind. I mean, not in the way you're thinking, but in the "why can't there be world peace?" kind of way. I guess I just don't understand why people just can't get along. I especially hate when someone judges someone else before getting to know who they really are. It really annoys me. If you don't know anything about that person, then you have no right to judge them at all! I must say a lot of people in our school have this problem. What happened to everyone since middle school and even elementary!? Kids have turned into cruel people. Is that how your parents raised you? I highly doubt it. So when and why did everyone start being awful? I just don't understand. I just hope that it's just a phase and everyone will outgrow it. Whew...that was quite long! But that was just on my mind, so I thought I would share my thoughts with you.

Watch This! Your Life Will Be Complete!

Chris Brown

I am currently in love with this dreamy chocolate man. He is so sexy and has such an amazing voice! I would love for him to come to my house and sing me to sleep every night. That would be the most amazing thing ever. Right now, I am listening to "Take You Down" from his Exclusive album. I've been listening to that over and over for the past week. I just love it! It would be so sweet if Chris and I could sing a duet. That would pretty much make me the happiest person on earth. Oh my, and his smile! It makes me melt. And you can't even argue with me on that one, because it's so true. Well i mean, unless you're a guy....then I'm hoping you won't say he is sexy. So anyway...there isn't a professional video for "Take You Down", so I just found a video with a bunch of Chris Brown-chocolaty-goodness pictures. So listen to it and fiest your eyes upon this man, and try not to drool too much :]

Today

My day began with a bad cold and ended with a smile. Shall we get into details? Okay, so lets begin with the bad cold. When I woke up this morning, I felt like crap. I was stuffy and coughing my lungs out. So I stayed home. Which was ironic because we ended up getting an early dismissal anyway, not by much, but still some. So after resting, my mom made me clean *sigh* and then I watched Star Dust, which is one of my favorite movies ever! After all that nonsense, I had to go to work. And usually at work (Rossi's) I mess up peoples' orders or do something wrong. Well today my friends, I did not mess anything up. I'm pretty ecstatic right now. It was quite slow due to the massive amounts of snow. So, that brings us to now, a happy, smiling elise :]

ipod Belt

So today in Communications, Edd proudly walked into the classroom blasting music. Then it got me thinking...how cool would it be if Apple made and ipod Belt!? Because then you could just attach your ipod to the front of the belt, and there could be tons of different belty covers for it so that it stays in mint condition and it would look sweet. Another awesome thing would that there would be speakers scattered around the belt so when you walk into a room, you can play your music, for dramatic effect of course. For instance, lets say Debbie is having an awful day and she doesn't want to talk to anyone...all she has to do is play the song "Bad Day" and then wah-la! everyone knows that she is having a bad day. Or what about this...so Bob is the crunkest man alive. He wants everyone to know how crunk he can get. So what should Bob do? He takes his ipod, places it on his awesome ipod belt and chooses the song "Everybody Gettin Crunk" and then bam! everyone knows Bob about to bust a move. The ipod belt would also be a great way for communication. It would also come in various sizes and colors. So when, if ever, Apple decides to creat an ipod belt, you all know who's idea it was first!

The Good 'Ol Days

So I was just thinking about how badly I used to want to be an author. I used to write these pathetic little short stories. And of course, I thought that my short stories owned. I would write fantasy stories, following the storyline of Cinderella, where the girl was poor and had an awful family then fell in love with the prince and they lived happily ever after. I do recall though, I went through this stage where I thought happily ever after was ridiculously boring. So I would make sad endings. I wanted to make the reader cry i suppose. Or I would want to shock the reader. I saved my stories and it's so funny to go through them. I love saving things because then you miraculously find them years later and you think to yourself, "wow. i was such a dork." It's amazing how much time has passed. It feels like just the other day was kindergarten; hand painting, naps, playtime, when boys had cooties, and teacher's loved apples. And now we're in 12th grade; essays, dozing off during class, after school activities, while boys are just about the best thing ever, and teacher's would love it if you would bring in a box of tissues. Lots of things have changed! But it's so exciting! So, I found short stories, what kind of funny things do you guys find when you look through old papers or pictures?

Procrastinator

Alright, I must admit that I haven't even opened a book during our week off. I mean, I don't have that much homework but it's going to take a good 2+ hours because I need to write a lot. Plus, I have to work tonight so that doesn't help the slightest bit. I hate that I'm a procrastinator. I've been one probably my whole life, starting when I was just a wee little girl, when i messed up my bedroom and toy room and kept putting cleaning off until it was quite hard to even walk through. It's actually a very bad habit that I need to break out of before college or else life is going to get to be pretty tough. I don't even know why I put things off. I mean, seriously, if you get something done early, then you can just relax all day. I think I have procrastination disease. I need to find a cure, fast!

Be Positive And Know Brian

I had no idea what to write about, so I was thinking about how I live my life. I try to be positive all the time. It's not easy, but if you try, life is so much better. Seriously, people need to stop being all dramatic and negative. There is no point! Do you know how much time in our life we spend not being positive? Well I actually didn't look up the statistic so I'm not really sure, but I'm guessing a whole lot of time. I personally am happy maybe 90% of the time. You only have one life to live, so why waste it on stupid things? I mean, I know that bad things happen, especially to good people, I would know...but you just have to look past that. However, I am a hypocrite so I sometimes don't follow my own advice, but besides that, just be positive. That's my advice to you.

I started writing that before Brian gave me a posting topic. So here's just a little post about how awesome he is. Let's see, where to begin? He is hilarious, dresses nice, makes funny videos, and he LOVES America. Hm...he also is actually very poetic and deep. Plus, he is such a nice brother. He has awesome posts and now has aquired the nickname: sexy kitten. If you don't know Brian, you're so missing out!

So two thing you must do, you HAVE to be positive and you MUST know Brian.
The End.

Chocolate Coovered Pretzels

Okay so today i was very bored and I just happened to have a sweet tooth. So I rummaged through my cupboards and I found these huge chocolate bars. Right when I saw it, I just had to have it! But I just didn't want plain chocolate. I wanted something to put the chocolate on. So my sister recommended pretzels. I was super excited! So I melted some chocolate, threw pretzels in and got them all chocolately, then took them out with my bare hands, which wasn't very smart because the melted chocolate was obviously scolding hot! The pretzels looked so delicious! But, I had to put them in the fridge so that they could cool off an harden. And because I'm the most impatient person on earth, I would check them about every 5 seconds. Finally, I got distracted for about 20 minutes. So when I remembered about the pretzels, they were done. Oh my God!! They were so delish! So next time that anyone wants chocolate covered pretzels...just come to my house and we'll make some :] (picture to be added soon!)

Serenity

If I could be anywhere at this moment, I would absolutely love to be in the most serene and peaceful place. I'd want it to be night time and I'd preferably like to be on a hill so that I could over look towns and mountains. There would have to be tons of stars, and I'd want to be able to see the milky way. I love star gazing more than anything. It's just amazing. Just to look up and see stars and planets, it's breath taking. It would also, obviously, have to to be warm out; not too hot, but just the perfect weather. And star gazing is no good without someone else there with you. I just think that would be the best place to be right now. Now all I need to do is find a place like that! Another good place would be in a forest. Not one of those wild animal, national park forests. I mean an exotic forest, with a huge waterfall. Anywhere with amazing scenery is my place to be!

My Dream Job

Lets see...I'm going to college to be a fashion designer, and don't get me wrong, I love everything about being a fashion designer. But in middle school, I wanted to be a marine biologist. I suppose that's still my dream job. I just think that swimming with whales, dolphins, sharks, and most importantly penguins, would be so much fun! I never really was a science whiz so I kind of threw that dream out the window, but I would still love to be a marine biologist. They travel to neat places, they spend time with sweet animals, and the pay isn't so bad either! Plus they get to discover animals and swim. I love swimming. Plus you get to go scuba diving, which would be so much fun. If I was a marine biologist, I would get so excited for work everyday. It's got to be one of the coolest jobs out there!

I Love Little Kids And Ellen

I found the cutest and funniest video. This little girl is so cute and it's actually amazing how she knows every state in America. I don't know how old she is, but I'm guessing 4 or 5 maybe. All i know is that when I was 4 I defiantly did not know every state. Just watch...

Creepy Just Doesn't Cover It

This has got to be the creepiest thing that I've ever watched! I don't even know if I believe this guy. He could be lip syncing for all we know. There's not even a picture that can describe how weird this is. I am so flabbergasted right now. Just watch it and you'll understand.

Amazing Little Singer

So I was surfing YouTube as usual and I came across this 13 year old kid who can sing! My jaw dropped, literally. This kid is so freakin amazing! He's gonna get mad chick's with that voice, let me tell you. So now that I think about it, I think that if a guy sang to a girl, it would probably be the best thing ever. I don't even think it would matter if they sang good or bad, it's the thought that counts and it's one way to win a girl's heart, that's for sure. Personally, if someone serenaded me with Billy Joel's "She's Got a Way", it would probably be the best moment ever. But anyway, enough of that sap-crap. Back to YouTube. Now-a-days, someone singing on YouTube can get them a record deal. Seriously, YouTube gave such an opportunity to the people who have amazing talents. All they have to do is post a video and wah-lah! Plus there are a select few who are seriously unbelievable, 'make tears come out of your eyes', 'make you wish you were dead because there's no way you will ever have that voice' kind of singers. And they deserve to be heard! The End.

Mooooovies

I went and saw Step Up 2 with 3 of my friends on Friday night. There is one word that can describe that movie: dank. Oh my God! That movie was freakin fantastic. The dancing was uber awesome and the soundtrack was absolutely amazing. Also, Robert Hoffman is the sexiest man alive! But anyway, I LOVE that movie without a doubt. I don't know if any of you ever feel this sensation that I'm about to describe to you, but it's probably happened to you before. So after Step Up 2, I felt like i could dance like they did. I just had it in me and I needed to unleash it. So I danced out to the car and had quite the dance party in the car. So yeah, 2 thumbs up. GO AND SEE IT NOW! Okay, so then yesterday, before my amazing UNO adventure (read blog below) I went and saw Jumper. I must say, I was utterly disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the special effects were sweet but the ending disappointed me. I just feel that they rushed it. I think that if they took a longer time to produce the movie, it would have been better. It was good, but it wasn't great. But Hayden Christensen is one hot piece of man so I enjoyed looking at him through out the movie! If you so desire, go see Jumper, but my main point was to get everyone to go see Step Up 2! If anyone goes, take me! I so want to see that again :]

Karissa, The Freakin Awesome Waitress

Last night my uncle, mom, cousin, and my bang'in lil self went to the amazing UNO Bar & Grill for dinner. When we got there it was mad crowded and we ended up waiting a half hour to get a seat. It was so worth it though. The food was delicious but our waitress was probably the best waitress ever. Her name is Karissa and she was so funny and had such a bubbly personality. She came to our table and greeted us with a smile and when you have my uncle, mom, cousin, and me at a table...we are probably the craziest people you will ever meet. We laugh pretty loud and have the best conversations. But anyway, Karissa comes to our table and we were joking around with her and made her laugh. Then every time she came back we would have a small conversation with her and we'd all be laughing so loud. We had people staring at us because of our loudness. Karissa told us that we made her night and that she wants us to always come back. Towards the end of our meal, she came over to give us our 124 dollar bill (yikes!) and we got into, probably a 15-20 minute conversation. We found out that she wants to be a doctor and the way that she lit up when she was talking about it was so sweet. We gave her 20 dollar tip if I remember correctly, and we left her a note saying how awesome she was. So, that is my story about the best waitress ever. It might not have been that interesting to you, but you just had to have been there to understand how awesome she was! So someone take me to UNO for dinner and you can see for yourself ;]

Babies?? Um NO!

Okay, so Cippo claims that i am giving birth to triplets. This, in fact, is 100% false! As you all can tell, i have a 12 pack so it's impossible for me to be harboring children in my belly. If I were to be having triplets, well I'd be quite large right now and very moody. And correct me if I'm wrong, but i seem to be quite normal looking and I'm never moody. So where was this rumor derived from? Let me tell you...it was awhile ago that this began. Alfano and I were walking up to Krieger's class after our dreadful Economics class. In the hallway, we saw Mrs. McConnell wobbling, because she had a baby. We overheard her talking about how someone asked if she was prego and she said, "How can you not tell!?" I turned to Alfano and i can't quite remember exactly what I said, but it was something along the lines of, "She should make an announcement and say I'm pregnant!" That's when Cippo overheard me and began the "Elise is giving birth to a child" rumor. Eventually, my one baby evolved into 3 babies somehow. But I just thought I would clear that up, because I don't plan on being pregnant, oh, for about another 8-10 years at the earliest! (p.s. If I were to have a baby, I'm pretty sure, actually no..I'm positive it would be as adorable as the picture of the baby I have up there!)

Rocking Out

So even though I can't play the guitar that well, I still LOVE rocking out! It's so much fun. And just rocking out in general is awesome. Just grabbing a spoon or hairbrush (substitutes for microphones) and singing to any song...even if you can't sing and don't know the lyrics. It's a great way to get energized and not to mention, lose some calories! It's also a good way to get something off of your mind or if you're all stressed out, rocking out is the antidote for you! Having someone to be a complete goof ball with you is also great fun. It's very entertaining and funny. I would know. So, on this Valentine's Day, if you are suffering from a broken heart, or you can't stand this so called "holiday", or you just want to be a goof ball, then grab a friend and some kitchen utensils and rock out! :] (p.s. that picture is of me "playing" the guitar...isn't it awesome!?)

Enough Of This Winter Crap

Winter is beautiful and amazing when it first hits, but when it's dragging on into February, well, I'm just sick of it. I do love the snow but I despise being cold! Which is ironic because I'm hoping to get into Buffalo State. But anyway, I mean, if you have someone to cuddle with when it's cold out, then awesome. But when you are alone and it's below zero, well it sucks! I hate that feeling when you walk in from outside and you can't feel anything and you're as frozen as ice. It's just not a good feeling. I also hate when you're getting into bed and you're freezing. Personally, it take me longer to fall asleep in the winter time. I shiver in my bed until i get warm and then I can finally drift off to sleep. Winter, however, does bring good things. For instance, hot chocolate, cute scarves, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and my favorite, sledding and playing in the snow. Playing in the snow will never grow old. It's just the best thing ever, well you know, minus the coldness, but oh well. With good comes bad, but people learn how to sacrifice. Okay, so Spring needs to come right about now and scientists need to invent warm snow or snow that can still be cold in warm weather, something like that, because that would be just about the coolest thing ever! :]

Fashion Education

I think that UE should acquire new fashion electives. The only classes that we have that are somewhat dedicated to learning about fashion are clothing and textiles and fiber arts. I mean some of us would like to become famous fashion designers one of these days and it would be really nice if we had some fashion classes to take in high school. It should be a full year course and we should get to make pants and shirts at least. We should learn about all the famous fashion designers and it would be awesome to have a field trip to NYC or something or if everyone raised enough money, we could all go to fashion week in Europe. But anyway, having more fashion classes would benefit people. Like, perhaps more people would become more creative and fashionable about what they wear. Instead of seeing Abercrombie and Hollister on practically the whole student population, we could see more creative and more individualistic clothes. The students taking the fashion class could just make their own clothes, which would be awesome to put in a portfolio for college. Fashion classes would just benefit UE, nuff said.

Rah Rah Sis Boom Hah!

I am currently a Skills Coach for the pee-wee cheerleading squad at OLGC. They are so adorable! I love coming up with dances for their competition and they are actually doing really well. I love how enthusiastic they are when Carmella Dalton and I come to practice. It takes some time to teach them the amazing dances (no lie) that we put together for them, but it's all coming together, which makes me happy :] These girls are young, and they were asking to dance to soulja boy and just rap songs in general. I thought that was weird because i'm pretty sure that they have no clue what the meaning behind any of those songs are. I mean, especially soulja boy! We all know what THAT means. And i refuse to let little girls dance to it at a catholic event! That's just ridiculous.

UE Dollars For Scholars

Today was the phone-a-thon for the UE Dollars For Scholars Foundation. It was long and tiring. Lots of people, including myself, were there from 3:45 to 8:00! It wasn't all that bad, minus folding papers for over an hour and suffering from 2 minor paper cuts, but oh well. So, I would just like to say, that people are quite rude. When a polite teenager asks a person to donate to a very good cause, they should not hang up or get a tone of voice. I just wanted to knock some people out today. If they don't want to donate, all they have to say is "no thank you" and just let it rest. There is no need for being snotty and rude! I mean come on people, lets just act like civil adults once in a while.

Hiring A Good DJ

Yesterday, I went to the Winter Prince Dance at Susquehanna Valley High School. And quite frankly, the DJ there was not promising. He had scratched CD's which made the music sound weird and he played songs that no one had ever heard of, and they were not good songs for dancing. I think it's important to hire a fantastic DJ for a high school dance. For instance, Andrew King DJ's UE dances. He is an awesome DJ. He plays music that everyone likes and he is young, which is an advantage because he knows what kind of music high schoolers like to dance to. It's just very important to have have a good DJ who knows how to entertain young people.
*Promoting my padre`: And if anyone is looking for a sweet DJ for any kind of event, you can call my dad because he is a pretty sweet DJ :]

Bangs Are In.

The new fad these days are bangs. I believe that women who have bangs are making a fashion statement. It shows that they are confident and trendy. Side bangs are also very popular, however, too many people have them. That's why straight bangs are awesome, because it shows that a woman wants to stand out and try something different. And that's what i have to say about that :]
